Cool Kits: English Premier League 2012-13

Attention: The English Premier League kicks off Saturday, bringing to the forefront some pretty great soccer -- if you're into that sort of thing -- and some sweet unis.

Here's a quick look at five of our favorite English Premier League kits, all of them new for the 2012-13 season:

With American star Clint Dempsey wanting out, things might get scary for the London club. Might that be why Hugo Rodallega & Co. chose to wear these Halloween-worthy threads?

On the other end of the color spectrum, new manager Michael Laudrup will see his Welsh club wear all white with gold lettering -- a welcome departure from some of the league's loud striped or hooped ensembles.

Move over, Seattle Sounders, you have some competition in the electric green department. Could the club's American ownership (soon-to-be-former Browns owner Randy Lerner) have inspired the MLS-like approach for players Barry Bannan and friends?

Arsenal away

Recycle bottles, not players. That's Arsenal's approach -- or at least it needs to be -- as Lukas Podolski is in London to (somewhat) replace the departed Robin van Persie, while the club's new away kit is made from previously used plastic

A kit fit for champions, as the UEFA Champions League winners welcome this subtle yet sharp new uni, along with new signings such as Marko Marin.
